Operation Smile 5k

Last Saturday I ran my first race in 10 years. I ran it with two of my childhood friends, Anna and her older sister Lisa. Anna has two little boys (her oldest born just days after Isaac), both born with clef palates so this race was extra meaningful. While I did not appreciate the bitter cold that morning, or the switchbacks up the mountain (what the!), it was actually pretty fun and I was honored to be able to participate in such a good cause.

Please send good thoughts my way this weekend. Between my Photography Workshop, and the half marathon I'm running this weekend, I'm going to need them!
