Dear Husbands

If I have any readers that are of the male persuasion and want to earn serious points from their wife, and lets face it, ANY woman: surprise her and get pictures taken of your children!

The husband of all six of these GORGEOUS children did this very thing. Along with his wife's best friend, they sent her away, got the kids all dressed up and met me for a photoshoot as a surprise for her birthday today! We did this shoot last week, but I've been anxiously awaiting her big day so I could finally post them.

I've never met a sweeter family. The kids were each bursting with personality, and a variety of looks (red, brown AND blond hair; curly hair, straight hair; blue, green, AND brown eyes!). I had a wonderful time with them and I hope their mommy is happy with her birthday present this year.

YEAH! Finally!! I have been anxiously awaiting this day as well. These pic's turned out SO incredibly good. And the one's posted are only just a few of the amazing ones. I'm serious about submitting one to GapKids. Isn't her husband the best! Who would have thought of such a great idea. I can't wait to hear about her reaction. I'll let you know if I hear anything. You are amazing.

What a depressing setting! It doesn't look industrial--it looks seedy.

Who's the person who wrote that the setting was "seedy"? First, the person either doesn't understanding the definition of seedy (untidy, scruffy children, etc.), and second, obviously the person doesn't have an artsy touch (or grasp for interest and diversity). I am surprise someone would leave a comment such as this on a great photography blog (I have been watching this blog for a few months now and I think the photos are great - thanks for sharing, keep it up.) Finally, why would someone want to leave a critical comment like this? Who has the time to criticize based on pure opinion, and obvious lack of photographic experience? If you're going to give feedback, why don't you provide some of your own examples and represent yourself in a more professional way.
