After dropping off Isaac and Geoff's sister's house in Vegas and driving away wiping a tear or two, we met up with the rest of our church group for the hike down the Grand Canyon. We got there at one in the morning and hiked down. When we finally made it to the indian village at the bottom, four hours later, we had had a total of four hours sleep in two days. Needless to say, we were more than beat. The campsite was still another 2 miles aways, so after a quick rest on the dusty ground, we strapped on our 40lb packs again and hiked the rest of the way there. What an amazing and breath-taking trip it was.
