Ray, I'm obsessed with you
No, I really am. If you haven't heard Ray Lamontagne, slap yourself, and then go listen to him. Geoff and I went with my brother, and the McPhersons to his concert last night. I've had a permagrin ever since. He was A-MAZING! Best concert I've ever been to. Please listen to "You are the best thing" for me. I've been dancing to since 8am this morning and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
And here's some more because I can't just give you one. The first one of my most favorites.

the Hadlock family sealing
Do you remember this darling girl from a while back? She's finally chubby, and cuter than ever. Thank you for letting me documenting this awesome event!
I love when the bright sun works to my advantage.
Apparently this is a new face she's been doing and it's hilarious.

Homework, Week 1
I'm taking an online photography class with the amazing Sheye Rosemeyer. Our assignment this first week was to recreate a childhood memory and use different apertures to do so.
The memory I choose to recreate is of coming home from school to warm and delicious banana bread. I'd put a slab of butter on it (not as large as yours Matt) and devour it. Love you mom. Thank you for such a great memory and your amazing cooking skills!

Mini Me
Someone told me the other day that Lucy looks just like me. I tend to think my kids look like themselves and not Geoff or I, but if someone wants to give me a compliment like that, I'll take it anyday.
And here's the other mini me, perhaps not in looks, but interests. Geoff found our very first digital camera, purchased one month before Isaac was born. Isaac is totally obsessed with it. He came down today with it in a camera bag, slung over his shoulder and across his chest "just like you wear your's mommy". And then while he was out taking pictures of Geoff and Lucy, he asked Geoff to turn his head a little bit and say "cheese". I was dying.

the McPhersons
Just a quick shoot, but long enough to make me realize I have WAY too many brown bombshells for friends.
And yes, Kristina made all the darling cream accessories they are wearing. Isn't she talented?

Steve and Meg engagements
Steve (my brother-in-law) and Megan are set to get married in just one month. We're all so excited to FINALLY have Megan as part of the family! This is my favorite engagement shoot yet, I had a hard time choosing which pictures to show. They're just so smokin' hot!
And don't forget to scroll down, there are a bunch of new posts after this one.

Baby "Shage"
That's what Isaac calls her. Did I mention that he's obsessed with her? Emily stayed at our house the last couple days and my kids were ga-ga over Sage. Isaac keeps telling me how much he misses her.
J Dawgs and applesauce
A trip to Provo is not complete without a J Dawg. Luke, they miss you there!
We canned 28 quarts of applesauce, apples all picked from neighboring yards!! Thank you so much to my parents and Emily for their help. It's to die for.
What a "smart" looking couple. I think that's lingo from your era mom and dad.

the Ditto family
A few from a quick shoot we did. They live in Washington, so our visits are WAY too far between. I relished every second with them.
The boys, minus their dad who was taking one of the girls to the bathroom.
The girls.
