Babygirl
Haven't taken many pictures of the kids for a while, so here's an older one of Lucy. I was getting depressed seeing my last post.

The Prayer of the Children
I can clearly remember the first time I heard this song eleven years ago. It made such a profound impact on me that it nearly gives me chills everytime I hear it.
This song was originally written in memory of the children in Yugoslavia when the Yugoslavian wars started. This particular video accompanying the song is "dedicated to the real victims of war, hatred and unforgiving hearts: Children."

Tis the Season
So we jumped the gun a little this year. Usually I'm a firm believer in waiting till December 1st to get all Christmasy, but this year, since we're leaving early for Oregon, I talked Geoff into it and we decorated much sooner. Tonight I put Isaac down for the night and walked down the stairs to see this...I love this time of year!
Photoshoot
Thanks to this sweet mom who let me take pictures of her kids. The gallery will be up soon Rebecca. Hope you like them!
***DECEMBER PHOTOSHOOTS. We will be in Oregon for Christmas this year. If you are a fellow Oregonian and interested in having pictures taken, please email me!

Dream Mine
I've been talking about going up to this mine for sometime and today we went. I thought it would be a great photoshoot place, but it took a while to figure out how to get there and there was a hike involved...so WE thought it was great, but perhaps not for a family all dolled up.
What a beautiful, warm and sunny day. Can't get enough of my cute husband and kids.

Lulu
Here's my baby. Five months old and a bit. She is the happiest little thing you ever did see (ok, maybe not THAT little, she's a chunk). This post is in honor of my sweet sister Emily, and her husband Ryan, who tye dyed this shirt for Lucy. Hooray for my Oregon-hippie roots!
**On a side note: Several people have asked if I do photoshoots. Yes!! I do! Please send me an email, leah@pelousedesign.com to inquire about pricing.

On a walk
Lucy, Isaac and I headed out for a walk today. Turns out we were way overdressed, it was beautiful and warm. This was the first time Lucy had sat in the jogger stroller with him so it was kind of precious.
Playing in the leaves
I always loved doing this as a kid, until I realized that I had to re-rake all the leaves I had just thrown. Oh to be a kid again.
On a train
Isaac loves trains. These train tracks are close to our house...a little too close. So on our way to the park, I became the coolest mom ever when I let him climb on this one. Don't worry, it wasn't on the tracks.

On the wild side
Isaac found this blanket in our closet today. I honestly have no recollection of where it came from. Now he's obsessed with it. He's currently sleeping wrapped up in it.
**I've changed my layout so you can see the pictures in their large size without clicking on them. Hopefully this is beneficial to my "older and wiser" viewers.

the evening events
After going to Grandma Wright's house for some trick or treating (Geoff was Bagger Vance and I was his golf tee), we headed to Ann's AWESOME house for some fun. We had delicious chili made by her sister Amy, and a slew of tasty treats. Estee was a darling genie and Livi, the cutest monkey you ever did see. We walked around that neighborhood too and we ooo-ed and ahh-ed over how cute our kids were knocking on the doors and saying "trick or treat".
