The Womb
So I had to laugh at this picture as I decided this is probably what my wee one in the womb looks like currently. Not laughing? We must not have the same sense of humor. 2 days to go.

Happy Memorial Day, from our house to yours!
Geoff and I have been out working a lot in the yard lately so I thought I'd show it off a bit (mostly for praise from my mother, lets be honest). Our garden is all planted in the back and we can't WAIT for all the fresh produce we'll be taking in by the loads. Looks like today will be beautiful. We plan on doing some stuff around the house, buying a new BBQ, and putting it to use. What will you be doing today to celebrate? My sister and her kids will be "adopting a solider" for the day, what a great idea!
As a side note: No, these are not all our flags. Geoff has been incharge of putting these out in ward member's yards, and they stopped doing it this year. We have them all out infront of our house for people to take. Kind of wish they were all mine though.

Gone Fishin'
What a beautiful day! We headed up with some friends to Tibble Fork Lake (up American Fork Canyon). While the boys went mountain biking, the ladies and kids played at the lake. Isaac commandeered one of the girls' fishing poles and was in absolute heaven casting it out and getting ultra muddy. Love these days.

Guess who finally got a decent haircut?
My friend Megan came over to cut and color my hair (watch out, I'm quite blond now which means I'll be having a whole lot of fun, right?) and I asked her to cut Isaac's hair. Geoff does a great job on the lower part, but we have no clue when it comes to the top, so it's been quite long and jaggedy. She cut tons off the top and he sat perfectly still the ENTIRE time. Both Megan and were shocked to say the least. Then he requested a "mow-cock" as he calls it. He's obsessed with them for some reason. In fact, the other day he got into Geoff's hair wax and gave himself one...it has taken a full week to get it out of his hair! Gross.

Nothing quite like a sister as a bestfriend
I got to take pictures of these darling sisters today. Here are a couple of my favorites. It made me miss all my sissys! If you'd like to see more, click here.

Happy Birthday to my husband!
Geoff is the big 3-0 today! Just wanted to publicly tell him how much I love him and feel so lucky to have him. He is the most wonderful dad, husband and friend. He's talented, athletic, oh so handsome, thoughtful and loving. And to top it all off, he's soon to be a father of two AND the recipient of a PhD. We love you so much Geoff and hope you have a wonderful day!

A busy weekend
What a beautiful weekend! Geoff and I spent most all of Saturday finishing planting our garden. We're very excited. And once again, Geoff got totally carried away and we have about 5 different varieties of everything. We also purchased and planted a Macintosh Apple Tree, my favorite! When Isaac woke from his 4 hour (yes, FOUR hour!) nap, we met up with Livi and family at the park to celebrate her turning two. Isaac thouroughly enjoyed opening most of her presents for her.
Sunday was wonderful. Poor Geoff has to worry about my birthday AND Mother's day within a week of eachother. He took Isaac all day so I could sleep in and eat delicious homemade waffles with strawberries and whipcream. After church, we went to his parent's house and ate a superb meal put on by the boys and then played croquet. I felt like a queen...with a lot of back pain.

Inaugural ride
Geoff's been dying to get out and ride his bike since he has Spring Term off (from teaching atleast, not from the PhD), so he came home early today and geared up. About ten minutes after he left, I heard thunder and the hail started coming down. I must admit I may or may not have chuckled to myself. When he got back, he was soaked and said he had a great time, though the hail was a bit painful. He is drenched in this picture, although as I look at it you can't really tell. But, aside from all of that, please note my beautiful Wisteria behind him. It is my most FAVORITE thing (next to our snowball tree) in the backyard. And it smells just as lovely as it looks.
Thank you
Thank you to everyone who was so kind to think of me yesterday on my birthday. I was overwhelmed with calls and emails. Thank you!
A special thanks to my sweet husband who took me out to breakfast at Magleby's Fresh (a tradition and the location of our first hot date), came home early and let me take a nap, and then made a delicious dinner of salmon stuffed with lobster and spinach, baked potatoes, bread and a tasty salad. Only to be topped off by angel food cake with homemade whipcream, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries!! Divine!
