Children of the corn

So I've been dying to take some pictures of Isaac in this corn field for a couple months now. So I finally go with Amy and they are plowing it down!!! I also forgot my camera, nice work. And, to top it off, Isaac was NOT in a picture taking mode. I couldn't have been sadder as it was such a cool location, with a broken down house and everything. Shoot, guess we'll have to go back some other time.

My grandparents

My grandparents (from Washington) stopped by on their way to St. George. We spent the afternoon together in the lovely weather that we've been having. My grandma instantly won Isaac over when she caught a praying mantis and let him give it leaves and flowers. We had a delicious and entertaining dinner with them at Tepanyaki as well. The last picture is of my grandpa. I started lightening it under his hat, and then decided that I actually liked the effect of it all just as it was.

Storytime at the Library

Isaac and Livi love StoryTime at the Public Library. Sadly, today was Miss. Allison's last day as storyteller. We will miss her crazy antics and poorly done accents.

A day with family

These pictures are from today. My little brother Seth, came back from his month long trip to Europe and the family who was in town got together in SLC to say hello to him. My little sister Laura (just got her mission call to Zurich Switzerland!!) and her boyfriend were staying with us in Provo and went up as well (they are the two love birds on the swing). I loved this picture of my brother Matt and Isaac sitting on the porch eating CoCo Puffs. Just happened upon that gem.

The face

Not sure where this face came from, but it's his new favorite. He likes doing this after saying "no", and at other random times. It reminds me of how I feel when my grandma takes out her teeth...funny, but not something you want to see regularily.

Picnic at the park

We met up with Amy and Livi at Neilson's Grove (the best park ever), for some KFC, pasta salad, and delicious cupcakes. The kids had the best time in the fountain of course. They are so cute together. Isaac loves giving Livi kisses and hugs. They even hold hands-waiting for a good picture of that to blog don't you worry. What a perfect evening with the ones I love!

Beautiful Brianhead

I think I've decided Brianhead is one of the most gorgeous places around. The combination of redrock and the green trees is breathtaking. Geoff and I went here once while we were dating, and once when we were first married. It was fun to go back five years later to the same place. Thank you to Geoff's sister Elise, who watched Isaac for us.

Back with mission buddies

Here are a couple pictures of Geoff with his old mission buddies, Josh and Blake. I had a wonderful time with them and their wives, while the boys biked and laughed for hours reminicing about their time in France.

The purpose of the trip...biking

Did I mention Geoff loves to mountain bike? Well, he does. Geoff and all the boys went on several rides the 2 days we were there. The last ride, Geoff ended up making out with a rock and royally scraped up his face. Luckily that was the worst of it.

Good day for a photoshoot

Isaac for some reason was in the mood to be photographed. I could hardly belive it when he went and sat down in the tire for me.! He's just too cute, must capture all these moments.

Reunited and it feels so good

How precious are these shots! Amy F. got them. Livi was there too, but wasn't up for the photo opp. We had a wonderful time together, celebrating Amy Dover's birthday. Happy birthday to my very best friend!

Happy Labor Day

What a gorgeous day today was! Our friends, Steve and Lindsay Anderson, were in town and happened to have a boat, so we joined them for a day at the lake. It was beautiful!

Learning at an early age

The brother of our friend found some shaving cream on the boat and thought it would be funny to teach Isaac about being a man. Isaac failed to see the humor in it and was more interested in the mouth full of cookies he had. We however, all had a good chuckle.

This little girl was at a friend's baby blessing that we went to, so what did I do? Whipped out the camera of course. Those lips and eyes are to die for.

Happy Birthday Steve

Today was Geoff's brother, Steve's birthday. We met at their parent's house for a delicious dinner. We are so grateful to have an uncle/brother/brother-in-law so close. We love you, and happy birthday!
