What a Week, and What a Mom!
I'm speaking of my mom of course. She is amazing. I had the craziest week of my life with work, some major deadlines. She was so helpful in every sense of the word. She played with Isaac, took him on walks, totally revamped my yard (including sawing off dead branches from my lilac trees!!), helped cook meals, went shopping etc! It was pure heaven. I was so sad to see her leave today. I am blessed beyond words to have such a vibrant, caring and beautiful mother. I love you!

Welcome back Jimmy!
Our good friends the Fowlers are back from China. Isaac and Jimmy are only a few days apart in age. They were so fun to watch interact. At one point I heard them yelling for a toy they both wanted and came around the corner to see them with each other's hands on the other's face, pushing! As you can see by the look of Isaac's face in this picture, he's not so sure if he wants another boy around as competition.

Woman of the Year
Spring Break in Las Vegas
At the baseball game
Fun on the trampoline
Geoff went and got a sprinkler to put under the trampoline and the kids loved it! Isaac wasn't too sure about it all, but as long as he was closes to dad, he was fine. Isaac also enjoyed his first popsicle. The kids pictured here are our neice and nephews, Nathan, Hailey, and Parker who is three months older than Isaac. They had SO much fun together!

Goofy Isaac
Though you can't tell from the weather, we're on Spring Break. Well, Geoff is. We leave tomorrow for Las Vegas, I'm so excited for a break! I had to work all day today, so Geoff watched Isaac for most of the time. He put this sticker on Isaac's head for some strange reason. I'm not sure what is more sad, that fact that putting a sticker on our child's head is funny, or the fact that I forgot about it till I was going to put him down for a nap two hours later.
Easter Day
What a great day we had, and what beautiful weather! We met Geoff's whole family over at his parent's house in the morning and went to church together. It was a really well done program with beautiful talks and musical numbers. After, we went back to their house for a delicious traditional Easter meal and an Easter egg hunt of course!

Exploring
Isaac and I went out exploring today. I've learned to just accept the fact that I will be doing laundry and a bath afterwards. Isaac is my best buddy. We do everything together. Today we played with the neighbor's dog, picked up rocks, ran our fingers in the dirt, and pulled petals off of flowers. Having a boy is so fun, I can't imagine it any other way!

This was taken a week or so ago, but I forgot to post it. Isaac is really pulling himself up (for the most part). I'm competing with him for bicep size.
Super Hyper

Isaac slept a lot today, and I mean a lot! So when Geoff got home he was super hyper. They wrestled and tickled eachother and ran around the house. Isaac was delirious with laughter and so were we. Here is a video of Geoff "bonking" Isaacs' head with his bear (it's real soft, don't worry). Boy is this a fun stage that he's in!

My little white trash boy
Boules
Boules is one of our favorite leisurly summer games to play. It's like Bocce ball, or Petanque if you know those (a favorite french sport). With the weather being so nice, Geoff brought them out and gave the boys of the family a go at it. Birch is my sister's husband, and Jared is my little sister's loverboy.
Aunties
Isaac loves his Aunties. He was being so cute with them, resting his head on their shoulders, I had to get a picture. We're so grateful to be able to have them around to have such a big impact on him. I wish Sara could be closer too, Isaac was just starting to warm up to her by the time she had to leave. I think she forgot to give him licorice.
