Bear Lake

We failed to post photos from the family reunion at Bear Lake - here are a few I had on my laptop. Hopefully this appeases any interest.

Hogle Zoo

With a day off due to Pioneer Day (a Utah holiday), we decided to take a trip to the zoo! It ended up being really pleasent weather, we didn't even mind the mini rainstorm towards the end of our time there. Isaac loved it all, especially the elephants and monkeys.

We forgot our stroller...you'd think we were first time parents or something. Though this "Express Wagon" didn't end up being very...express, it did actually end up being just the perfect thing for the zoo. Isaac could jump in an out when he wanted, and Lucy had a comfy ride.

For all of you who have compared the length of my neck to that of a giraffe's, here is a shot of me embracing my long-neckedness. And incidentally, no I do not do my hair like this everyday, just when photos are being taken apparently.

My favorite shot of Isaac watching the monkeys in their glass cage.

Miss Lucy Lu checking out the animal scenery.

Had enough?

Blessing day

We were able to bless 6 week old Lucy this Sunday at church. It was a beautiful blessing done by her daddy. All of Geoff's family was present as we're off to Bear Lake for a family reunion this week. My side of the family was sorely missed, but we were so grateful to have my brother Matt and Jessica, Luke, and my grandma and her husband present.

A close up of the bodice on the absolutely beautiful dress made by my ever talented mother. Thanks mom! I LOVE it!

The bracelet made by my sweet friend's father. He also made a matching one for me to wear.

Most all of the boys present at the blessing. Most assisted in the blessing.

The proud momma and daddy!

Captured...

These are the times when this camera of mine is priceless. So happy these moments were captured.

Some details from the Oregon celebration

I decided to put down the camera and just enjoy the festivities this time, so I don't have very many pictures. I should have taken more though, it was beautiful, laid back, and delicious!

Yep, my mom actually MADE blackberry jam for everyone who came!

You know you've had a successful party when a Barbie ends up hanging out with the utensils.

Summer Days

It's hot, real hot. We've been enjoying being outside in the morning, not so much in the afternoon. And we're barefoot a lot, hence the picture.

A day at Yuba Lake

Sleeping on Aunt Elise.

Sitting with dad on the boat. Sweet shades.

So mad I didn't get Isaac in focus on this one because it's tender. Oh well.

One of Elise's five girls, Hannah.

Phew! All caught up!

One month and a few days

Kisses from brother.

First smiles!

Fourth of July

At the parade. The bagpipes are my favorite part of the whole thing.

On a homemade slip-n-slide at Aunt Elise's. Followed by a delicious bbq.

Miss Alysee Grace

I have literally 50 pictures from this photoshoot that we did, just my neice and I. Picking out only five to post was painful. We had a ball--until I broke out in hives and became violently affected by the pollen at our neighbor's barn. Regardless, I'm in love with these pictures, probably because I'm in love with this sweet girl. I was borrowing a lens from Geoff's work and now I wish I had used it before I did this shoot as I'm still learning how to work with it on manual settings, so they aren't exactly as I would like. I can't get my site to work where I post galleries, so stay tuned for a ton more when it's up and running. I had to post some to appease the sisters.

The Oregon Coast

The boys: dad, Luke, Seth and Ryan.

The backside of Luke (the only way to get a shot of him with his hair looking normal).

A Baywatch moment.

It was an epic day at the Oregon Coast. I don't think I've ever been there with nicer weather, 62 degree water, and I'm guessing about 80 degrees outside, no wind...NOT common. It was absolutely perfect! We jumped waves while the boys surfed and body boarded.
