"A friend is someone who knows all about you, and still loves you."

Here's a whole stair full of friends who know WAY too much about me, but still (to my knowledge) love me! I miss you all terribly and cherish every second we have together, and even though I know all about Russian Bombs, stealing wheelchairs, Brian and Ben escapades, and companions with mirrors....I LOVE YOU ALL!

Memorial Day

Our nextdoor neighbors invited us over for a goodbye bbq (they are moving this next week). Isaac had his first experience with a pinĂ£ta. He didn't quite get the hitting part, but he did understand CANDY!

Lunch Group

Lunch Group was at Amy F's house today. We made delicious personal pizzas. She has a great park right across the street from her house with a water area. The kids loved it, well, the girls did. I thought Isaac was feeling better since he didn't throw up yesterday and seemed fine this morning. Turns out he's still not feeling well, he was ultra clingy and ended up throwing up right before we left. I can't wait to go again when he's feeling better because I'm sure he'd love it.

Summer days with Daddy

We love it when Geoff comes home early! I was able to finish up some work while he took Isaac and taught him several different sports in the space of an hour. This is Geoff's bike-his third love. His other two are the boy on the bike, and the girl behind the camera.

Sick Day

Isaac and I had a rough morning today. Him, because he was sick and throwing up, me, because I was cleaning it up. The true test of a mother! We're not sure if it was something he ate or if he has a bug of some sort. He was generally in good spirits today though and so I'm hoping it was just a quick bought of an upset tummy. When he woke up from his morning nap, he was laying on my shoulder, so I decided to see if he just wanted to lay down and relax. He's never been interested in the TV before, but I turned on Aladdin and gave him the cure for an upset tummy--a movie, some liquid, and Saltine Crackers. He just looked so cute, I couldn't help but realize that he's a little boy now, not a baby.

Boys will be boys

Isaac has been loving playing with the sprinklers out in the yard. He even runs up to them when they are on! This other picture totally grossed me out, but I took it anyways. Geoff found a large worm in the yard and promptly gave it to Isaac to hold-sick.

Great Grandma and Grandpa Morgan

We went to Geoff's cousins' reception this weekend. His mom's parents were there and hadn't seen Isaac since he was a couple days old.

Sunday Stroll

We love going on walks in the summer--oh wait, it's still spring and it's 90 degrees here! Nevertheless, we went on a walk last night in hopes of cooling off. Isaac preferred riding on his dad's shoulders to the stroller.

Bubble Bath

My aunt and uncle came into town this weekend and brought a sorts of bathtime accessories for Isaac. Now it's even harder to get him out of the bathtub!

Our trip to Oregon

We had such a good time in Oregon visiting family. I had a mishap with the returning of my camera, so I apologize for the delay in getting pictures up. Thank you to my parents for the delicious meals, conversation and love. There's nothing quite like going home.

Dutch Boy

This picture is for my little brother, Seth, who served his mission in Amsterdam. He brought these shoes back and they just happened to fit Isaac perfectly.

Concentrating

Here is a classic picture of Isaac. This is what he does when he's concentrating-he sticks his tongue out. Apparently filling gopher holes with dirt takes a lot of concentration.

Isaac and Poppy

Isaac loved my dad. The went around everywhere together. He loved sitting on the riding lawn mower with my dad.

Isaac, Poppy and an innocent frog

My dad found this little tree frog out on their porch and showed it to Isaac. At least that's how it started out. Pretty soon the frog ended up on Isaac's shirt, thanks to Poppy who had a good laugh about that. The thing that was the most funny about it, is that Isaac had no clue it was there.

Frisbee Golf

Can you believe how green it is there?? We went and played Frisbee golf together as a family. It was in the most beautiful location. The course meandered through the forest and out onto green flats. Isaac loved running all around, and I loved it too until the allergies kicked in.

Me and my boy

My sister Laura took these pictures. It's nice to have someone else behind the camera once in a while so I can get some pictures of me WITH Isaac. He was being so snuggly for some reason. Maybe it was because we were in my parent's gorgeous backyard with the green fields going on forever...I realize I miss Oregon.

Siblings

I love these pictures. It seems like photos with my family are more than priceless now. The picture of all my sisters and I is from a while ago, but we gave it to my mom for Mother's day, so I haven't been able to post it until now.

Uncle Luke

The reason I went to Oregon was for my youngest brother Luke. He was in a high school pageant where they earned money for the neonatal unit in Portland Oregon. It was so fun to watch and I was amazed at how talented he is! Here are some great pictures of him with Isaac, and also some more high flying pictures just for fun. And yes, that's him doing a back flip which he also did at the contest. I love you Bookes!

On the swing with Aunt Laura

Isaac loved going on this old tire swing that my parents have had for forever.

First time down the slide by himself

Isaac had such a fun time at the park. He even got brave enough to go down the slide by himself a couple times. I love this shot. I think it really captured the excitement he was feeling.

Father and Son

I finally caught a couple cheesy grins from Isaac, and even from Geoff. Isaac worships his daddy. Isaac's teeth look kind of crazy here. I don't think they do in person though, maybe it's just me trying to get used to the fact that my 16 month old finally has teeth!
